Puss in Boots

Happy Wednesday! Today's look is feminine and edgy, hence the post title. :-) I crack myself up!
I was gifted this dress by my sister-in-law a couple of months ago. It's a Cynthia Rowley printed jersey dress with a wrap skirt. At first I didn't accept the gift because I don't like anyone giving me anything. Except Mel. She can give me as much as she wants as OFTEN as she likes :-) Anywho, I finally relented and asked for the gift back (who does that?) and I've already worn the dress once. Today's outfit is basically a repeat but instead of a denim jacket I styled it with a denim shirt and tied it at the waist. Just my usual way of dressing down something feminine.

Yes! I'm wearing a dress. I do wear them from time to time but sometimes I feel like I have to work extra hard at behaving like a lady. You know, cross your legs when seated, make sure your behind is covered when sitting down so not to give a peep show, etc. etc. Maybe I should take an etiquette class? Nah! I'm not that bad. I know how to be a lady without trying. At least I think I do. You would tell me otherwise right? Anywho, here I am. In a dress. with boots. and a studded denim vest. oh yeah! with. my. friend. Owl.
I was going for a dainty biker babe look or a edgy meets prim and proper or just me! And no, I'm not going anywhere. I'm just wearing a dress. ;-) So, what do you think and how did I do?

Mid-Week OOTD - Shirt/Dress

Happy Hump Day!! It's the middle of the week and I decided to wear a dress today. I usually don't wear dresses unless it's a special event that I'm attending such as a wedding or for my anniversary. I'm not 100% positive that what I'm wearing is actually a dress. It could be a tunic or a shirtdress or a really long shirt. Here's how I styled it.
