Polka Dots are a favorite print of mine followed by black and white stripes and I styled it with my polka dot Keds to have a double dose of dots. This super casual look is perfect for laid back weekends and running errands.

Boyfriend, Metallic and Polka Dots
Happy Friday you guys! I'm participating in another week of Style Me Friday with Eboni from Fashionista Next Door. This week's inspiration is boyfriend jeans with black and white. My jeans are actually men's jeans. I chose polka dots for my black and white since stripes are really trending right now.
How do you wear your boyfriend jeans?

TGIF! I usually plan what I'll be wearing for a post the night before. Today I woke up and randomly decided that I would make an outfit post. Since I didn't plan what to wear and didn't have much time to really make an effort in choosing something (I stayed in the bed until the very last minute!), today's fit is going to be pretty casual. I just grabbed a top, jeans, sweater, and sneakers. I didn't iron anything and it's all old except for the kicks. Here's what I came up with on the fly.
What outfits have you put together when rushed and pressed for time?

DIY: Polka Dots
Happy Saturday!! It's been so long since my last post. Like weeks, right? Well, that's how long it felt to me. Actually, it's only been 5 days. But isn't that like FOREVER in the blog world? I've been taking pictures but I didn't like the way they turned out so I refused to post them. I just can't seem to get the posing right and I don't think I'm very photogenic. But I'm working on it and when I get it right, "'Unh Unh, you can't tell me nuthin!!" And, that's why I've been hiding.
Today's DIY will showcase the polka dot trend. It is mostly done with fabric or acrylic paint, but it can also be done by cutting circles out of your choice of fabric or with batting. This project can be time consuming depending on which method you choose. But most DIY projects are.
