Outfit Crush: Joggers

My first outfit crush of 2014 is from Mimi over at Mimi G Style. Mimi has a great style and makes most of her own awesome clothing. She usually styles her outfits on the dressier side so it's always a treat for me when she decides to keep it casual. Both of these looks include jogger/harem pants and I did own a pair but it wasn't what I had in mind fabric wise. Hopefully I can find a better pair so I can recreate one or both of these casual cool looks because I just might be too tall for them.

Not everyone may be into this style of pants but I think anyone can get away with it if styled properly and the crotch isn't super low. It also looks just as great styled with a pair of heels. Oh and if you're thinking it's too cold to wear this look now, you should come on over to Cali. ;-) Harem pants can easily be winterized by wearing layers on top such as a chunky knit scarf, sweater or beanie.

Would you rock jogger/harem pants?

  7. Really? I don't know why everyone I see them in appear short to me.

  9. I think it's made roomy in the butt and thigh area and then become tapered on the calfs and ankles.

  10. They are but my butt and thighs pull them in opposite directions so it just looks odd. It might be because I'm short, too. My bottom half width is disproportionate to the length, I think.
I don't know... ugh. I just keep trying them on with the hope that they will look cute and they never do :(

  20. YIkes, Mo! I am not sure which I would rock!! The Harem pants take me back to the Black pair I owned in college(Very MC Hammer with a little Glamour) and the joggers might work for me? To be honest, I never tried any joggers on.
