DIY: Gold Loafers

gold loafers pose 1 {who is that girl mo?}
I haven't been wearing my silver glitter loafers so I decided to refashion it into something more wearable. I decided on yellow gold since there were quite a few pairs of metallic gold shoes that I've had my eyes on but wasn't willing to spend the money on. Now I have a new pair of shoes all for under $5.

DIY: Studded Timbs

I saw some pics on my instagram of gold studded Timberlands. I thought it was a fresh idea so I decided to create some with my own pair of Timbs.

The supplies that I used were studs, q-tips and glue. I ordered 100 gold pyramid flat back studs from Etsy. These studs come with glue already attached to it. You can heat and stick if you have a heating tool. I don't so I used E-6000 glue and applied it to the back of studs. I used q-tips to put the glue onto the studs and gently placed them into my desired pattern.
To make it more of my own style, I used pyramid studs instead of the bullet studs and I decided to only do one side of the boot instead of all the way around. Instead of adding a printed design to the tongue I added a few studs to the top.
Here's what I wore with the boots.

Do you like the studded Timbs trend? Will you buy a ready made pair or create your own?

DIY: Painted Canvas Sneakers

Happy Friday!! So I had a pair of Keds that I really liked because it had a monkey on it. (I love monkeys!) Unfortunately it got dirty from walking through something, wet grass I think. I washed them in the washer but that didn't completely remove the stains. I chose to keep them as cleaning shoes or whatever reason I made up. Basically, the sneakers sat in the closet from lack of wear. Obviously, I wasn't ready to give them up so finally after about a year or so of going nowhere, I decided to paint them.

DIY: Cap Toe Shoe

    | No comments
I've noticed many women wearing cap toe shoes, whether it's pumps, boots, or flats. There's white caps, gold and silver metallic, a lighter shade on a darker shade of the same color family. It's on leather, suede, and patent leather materials. I think this trend is cool so I thought that I would try to find me a pair. While browsing my favorite online shoe stores and window shopping in the malls, I realized that most of the pretty versions just cost too damn much. But I should be able to make my own, right?

So I have been working on making and creating my own pieces of jewelry. I have made bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and rings. Most of these pieces are pretty easy to make.
