This month's sew from scratch project is wide leg pants and I may take them with me on my trip in a couple of weeks. I've realized that the more projects I sew, the better I am getting at it. It's still a bit scary but I'm proud of my progress thus far because practice does make perfect.
The pants look like pajama bottoms in my opinion and I just may use them for that but if I do decide to wear them outside of the house, this is one way I would style them.
Would you wear wide leg pants?

They look very comfortable! I will leave the wide leg pants to the tall girls :)

They look fantastic on you! I think I might look silly in wide leg pants just because I'm so short, but you pull them off well!

I love the results. They look so comfy and fit you well. I totally agree...the more you sew, the better you get at it.
ReplyDeleteYou really do have great sewing skills. I agree that it gets easier the more you do it... unfortunately, I don't have a place in my house where I can leave my sewing machine out, so it's a huge hassle to set it up every time I want to sew! I wish I could just sit down and sew anytime because I want to get better!
ReplyDeleteKeep on sewing.. it is good for the mind and body.. . hence new clothes to dress the body. I cannot do the wide leg pants again. They didn't work for me back then and now my thighs are bigger, so not for me. But I can't wait to see you modeling them with the high wedges.Kudos!
ReplyDeleteIt might still be a bit daunting but you're doing a fantastic job. That ensemble is going to look super cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cheryl, I'm trying. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot!
ReplyDeleteEven if it's in your garage or closet, you have to find a space. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks. I've been keeping up with my monthly goal so that's a start.

ReplyDeleteThank you. :-)
ReplyDeleteThose are so cute! I'm kinda digging the wide leg pants trend but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't ever buy any from the store. What a great idea to make a pair!
ReplyDeleteThank you and yes if you can save money making it yourself, why not? :-)
