Low Key

Low key pose 1 {who is that girl mo?}
Last weekend Mel and I had a getaway weekend to Monterey, CA. We rented a little cottage where we were able to keep everything laid back and low key. I didn't bring a camera as I didn't plan on taking any photos until I noticed the tree at the front entrance of our door. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to have pictures taken with a beautiful background like this especially since most of my photos are taken in the side driveway. All photos were taken with my iphone camera.

  1. I tend to forget about taking outfit photos when I'm out of town. Maybe if I was in beautiful Monterey I'd remember. :) Glad you got away!

  2. It looks so beautiful there! I usually take my camera with me but if I'm really having a good time, I don't tend to take as many photos since I'm too busy having fun!

  3. Honestly, if you did not say it I would not have known that these pics were taken with a phone. You look great and I hope you had a nice time.

  7. It made for a lovely backdrop. As bloggers we want to not take pictures when we're away, but sometimes that's the best place. HAHAHA Glad you did! Glad you had a great time.

  8. Ah so glad you did post these pix! Sometimes I really miss living on the west coast but if I were ever to move back there it would have to be Cali I can not deal with the rain of the PNW ( I lived in Seattle for a decade) but with many parts of California just as or more expensive then the NY Tri-state area I do not see this happening anytime soon. But so jealous you look great and like you are having a great time in warm, dry, sunny humid free air!

  9. Very cool pictures! When I was young we visited my mom's friend in CA and one of our touristy visits was to the aquarium in Monterey. Love your outfit!

  11. I thought of moving to Seattle but that much rain doesn't seem like much fun.
