Remix'd: Shredded Back Tee
I bought this cool tie dye t-shirt from my latest thrift haul and I decided to make it into a muscle tee with cut outs in the back. This project was so easy and fun you should definitely make 1 or 2 or 3 of your own. It's perfect for the Summer months and you can even wear it over a swimsuit.
Supplies:
t-shirt
scissors
ruler
pencil/chalk
- With the pencil, mark where you want to strips to start and end from the top to the bottom of the shirt.
- Using the ruler make dots 1 inch apart from top to bottom.
- Connect the dots horizontally using the edge of the ruler to make a straight line.
- Fold the back side of shirt in half.
- Cut the strips in between each dot.
- Stretch each strip. The harder you stretch, the longer the strip and vice-versa. I lightly stretched the first 3 strips and made the remaining strips a little longer.
- Remove the bottom hem using the scissors.
- Remove the sleeves using the scissors. *Optional*

I love this fun look. I like the idea of it over a swimsuit...it hides what you want, but is still sassy!

I have a lot of muscles in my arms so muscle tees actually accentuate them a bit too much. But I really like how the shredded back of the tee highlights your tattoos so well!
