The weather in the Bay Area has not been consistent and some days are really warm while others may be a little breezy. We've also had some rainy days but that didn't last too long either. With that said, I've decided to create an off the shoulder sweatshirt and made it a bit more fun by adding a printed piece to the front which I cut from an old pillowcase.
Supplies:
sweatshirt
scissors
pins
fabric or printed item
sewing machine
- Cut off least 1 inch or so around the neckline.
- Place the fabric on top of the sweatshirt and cut around the desired shape leaving about 1/2 inch allowance.
- Iron flat 1/2 inch around the cut piece to have clean edges.
- Pin down to the front half of the shirt.
- Sew in place.
Do you wear off the shoulder shirts? What do you guys think about my new elephant earrings?
