Hey guys! I've been featured by Marie Young from the awesome
Good Lookn Out blog. Head on over and check it out. Thanks!
Now back to the regularly scheduled program..
I volunteer at a women's residential treatment center once a month teaching an arts and crafts class. I began last month and the ladies made graphic tees. This month this ladies made rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces. This is always a fun time and I thought it would be cool to share a little something about what I do outside of blogging. There are currently 6 women participating in the class.
The photos of the graphic tees are before the paint dried and the tape was removed.
Beads and buttons were used to make the jewelry pieces.
Next month, I think we'll make something else involving t-shirts. Do you guys have any suggestions?
I saw your feature while I was blog surfing last night! I was like look at Mo :) But for real congrats on the feature that's awesome. It's also awesome that you're volunteering! I believe it's important for us to share our talents. What about using some studs or spikes on the t-shirts?
ReplyDeleteThat's so wonderful that you volunteer! I bet the women really enjoy the projects you do with them!
