Sporty Spice

Happy Friday you guys! Are you excited as I am? I get excited EVERY Friday but usually don't do much or go anywhere. Maybe that's where the excitement lies. So, I'm participating in another week of Style Me Friday. This week's inspiration is pencil skirts. It would be nice if I had a patterned one but I don't. The one I do have is black and wore it recently dressed up and businesslike. You can see it here. I really wanted to be a part of the link up so I decided that it was okay to wear the skirt again. I wore it LAST week, which is a pretty long time ago ;-) This week I'm wearing my pencil skirt dressed down and casual. I styled it with a varsity jacket and some timberland boots that I added studs to. You can check out the steps to create your own pair here. I added some accessories to the outfit to give it more femininity.

What do you think about the sporty trend? How would you style your version?

Outfit Details:

Jacket - HM Similar
Skirt - DIY Similar
